An Abnormal Life Of Two Teens

Drake woke to the sound of someone hoovering. That someone he assumed, was Eric. Eric McCaine.
Drake ran a hand through his jet black hair, messy from sleep. (Not like he ever bothered to brush it, anyway.)
He sighed and slowly sat up, his head was spinning from the lack of sleep, and the overdose of coffee he'd had the day before to keep him from falling asleep over his work. He could barely find time to keep up with his school work, job and what Eric called, his 'hobbie' work.
A moan escaped from his mouth, and he shifted his gaze over to Eric, who didn't look impressed.
"Nice of you to wake up," Eric said, switching off the hoover. "Thought it'd be a day by myself. Again," he paused before adding, "Lucky me."
Drake smirked, and nodded.
Eric sighed. "You know, it'd be great if you cleaned up this place. And actually kept it clean."
"Hey," Drake said, swinging his legs over the side of the bed, "You know me."
Eric shook his head, "All too well," He raised an eyebrow. "Did you sleep in that?" he asked.
Drake looked down at himself. He was wearing his usual clothes. The ones he wore the day before.
Drake shrugged. "Guess so."
Eric grinned, looking at the floor. His neat blonde curls falling in front of his face.
Drake stared at him. No matter what anyone said, he thought he was outstanding. Everything about him was amazing. Despite his rages he got when Drake stepped out of his league.
Eric dropped a pile of paperwork on the bed, just missing Drake's legs, causing him to jump out of the way.
"Dude," he said, frowning slightly.
Eric ignored him. "It's your neighbour," he retorted. "She's just... she's just gone."
Drake considered this. One of his neighbours never left the house, and the other wanted nothing to do with him.
"Which one?" he asked.
"You know who," Eric replied.
Of course he did.
